Follow the building progress journey for two storey savvy home built at St Lucia.
Considerable attention was taken to fully customise the design to make the most this high demand leafy suburb in St Lucia
Stage 1 – Before OJ Pippin Homes started building on the site, a preliminary site inspection of the land was essential to gain a good understanding of the scope of work required, and to avoid any unexpected costs for the client.
Stage 2 – After the site had been cleared, the trenches for the under-slab plumbing is positioned, then the footings and concrete slab poured.
Stage 3 – The carpenters can now get the ground floor structure underway. The lower floor frame is constructed and the structural steel beams and floor joists fixed into place.
Stage 4 – External cladding on the lower level is fastened to the frames as the wall framing and trusses are constructed to the upper level.
Stage 5 – Scaffolding throughout the build keeps our highly skilled carpenters safe and adhere to the QLD safety regulations, also allowing for the second storey framing and trusses to be assembled.
Stage 6 – The roof trusses have been mounted and the roof is now installed.
Stage 7 – Inside, the electrician and plumbers are undertaking their rough-ins and the window and door components have been delivered for installation.
Stage 8 – The windows and doors are now installed.
Stage 9 – The electrician and plumber have now completed their rough-ins and the plasterers have sheeted the walls and ceiling.
Stage 10 – The external cladding is almost complete on the upper level and all doors are now fixed into place. This home is now officially at lock up stage.
Stage 11 – Inside, a lot is happening. The stairs are installed and the cabinetry has been delivered ready for installation.
