Follow the building progress journey for one of the grandest homes in Sandgate with water views.
Considerable attention was taken to fully customise the design of this stunning home to make the most of the water views at Sandgate.
Stage 1 – Before OJ Pippin Homes started building on the site, a preliminary site inspection of the land was essential to gain a good understanding of the scope of work required.
Stage 2 – After the site had been cleared, the trenches for the under-slab plumbing is positioned, then the footings and concrete slab for the garage is poured. The carpenters can now get the ground floor structure underway.
Stage 3 – The lower floor frame is currently being constructed.
Stage 4 -The materials for the frame and trusses have been delivered and the carpenters are busy erecting this new home with water views at Sandgate.
Stage 5 – The roof trusses have been mounted and the roof is now installed. Inside the electrician and plumbers are undertaking their rough-in and the glass window and door components have been delivered for installation.
Stage 6 – The windows and doors are now installed. Outside the carpenters are installing the cladding. Inside, now the electrician and plumber ave completed their rough-ins and we can now get the plasterboard sheeted on the walls and ceiling.
Stage 7 – The external cladding is almost complete on the upper level. Inside the plasters are about to install the cornices.
Stage 8 – Inside, a lot is happening. The waterproofing is done and the tilers are preparing the floors. Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry is currently being installed.
Stage 9 – Outside, the painters have almost finished the external façade colours. Inside the tiler has completed laying the main living area floor and wet areas. Further carpentry is undertaken on the house for internal fixtures.
Stage 10 – Outside we can now see the pool starting to take shape, The stairs have been installed.
Stage 11 – The floorboards are now laid, and the first builder’s clean can be completed. The carpet and wardrobes are installed in the bedrooms, and the fix-out carpenters are adding the finishing touches.
Stage 12 – Outside the backyard is now levelled. The final external paint touch ups are now completed and the balustrade has been installed.
Stage 13 – The finishing touches are now happening outside. Landscaping is undertaken, and the drive way has been poured. The defect check will be undertaken shortly and any small imperfections will be rectified before we hand the property over to the client.
Stage 14 – After the final clean the professional photographer takes photos before the handover. This beautiful home is now ready for clients to move into so they can enjoy the amazing water views whilst relaxing in their stunning pool.
